Job description summary

Crush is looking an account manager, based in Edinburgh. The job is to be part of the client sales and handling team, headed by Rafael Cueto (Founder and CEO). The person will be responsible for selling to new prospects, writing new project proposals, managing client relationships and having responsibility for sales and margin targets.

Key areas of responsibility

Key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts
  • Dealing with all aspects of a project
  • Using an existing network of contacts to generate new business
  • Leading project management activity, including writing project briefs
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives
  • Attending client meetings
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
  • Completing administrative work, as required

Required criteria

To be a successful account manager you’ll need:

  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good ‘people skills’, for working with a range of colleagues and clients
  • A willingness to work long hours, often under pressure
  • A professional manner
  • Good business sense and the ability to work to budgets
  • Work in Digital Agency sector and in-depth knowledge of industry, trends and technologies

Remuneration

Salary of £30,000 including on target bonus/commission.
