Why they came to us
The Edinburgh Apartment is one of Edinburgh's top providers of serviced apartments in Edinburgh.
Their brief was simple. They wanted an all singing, all dancing website that would manage apartment bookings, take payments online, increase their profile and visibility in search engines all whilst having the finesse of a German sports car.
What we did for them
Crush designed and built a website and Content Management System (CMS), which met all their booking requirements. Bookings were linked to online payments where different variables such as percentage deposits, full payments and landlord payments are all accounted for. The bookings and payments are linked to a Customer Relations Management System (CRM) where all individual client information and notes are managed. These are then linked into the individual properties.
Customer communication is essential in any booking process, so constant and relevant notifications are emailed to the customer keeping them informed and up to date with their booking.
Properties are managed through the CMS, which is designed so that each property can be individually tailored, such as bed configuration and location to city centre attractions. The property availability is controlled and selected using a date and calendar system.

All this is great but to really measure the effectiveness of bookings, availability and revenue Crush built a dedicated reports area for The Edinburgh Apartment. Information was collected from various areas of the site and presented in a format they liked and understood.
How the case continued
Monthly Search Engine Marketing work is carried out in the form of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and a strategic Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign, where we use various methods to drive quality traffic to the website to increase bookings.
